• On June 25, 2016, on the eve of the one-year anniversary of the legalization of same sex marriage by the supreme court and the one-year anniversary of Latah county, J. Casey Doyle and Mario Montes, performed an art work entitled Engage and wed in a wheat field on Harden Farm in Moscow, Idaho. At dawn two rings emerged from the wheat field, pulled towards each other by partners of 14 years. The trek was one of labor but with help from friends, family, a community we were able to achieve our goal—a celebration of the journey we've (a nation) embarked on and the opportunity for marriage equality.
